Well..... It has been a WHILE since I last wrote! I have just been so busy and truly need to be in bed now! I am helping out at Wee School in the morning.... you know me... I will be face painting! The one thing I am good at! I so can't wait till next week also. Michael and I are going on vacation! Funny thing is we haven't out where we are going! Nothing like waiting till the last minute! Anywho I think I am going to bed, who knows maybe I can start posting on here more often someday soon.

Friends

Well I know I am slacking on posting new stuff, I know... But I wanted to take a few minutes to say that I am so thankful for my new friends down here. I have made some awesome friends since we have moved here. I know I could not have made it here without them. Today we spent all day with several of our new friends. They all are very special to us. The kids had a blast getting to play with other kids and hanging out. Tonight we went to one of my new closest friends house and exchanged gifts. It was awesome! The kids had a great time and so did the grown folks! I am so blessed to have this new family in my life. My children think of them as our very own family, and so do I. Evin was saying " Well they are our friends, but they are kid of our family too". They got permission tonight to call them aunts and cousins! (Aunt Tracy is now permanently in our family tree, Natalie is a bit excited about that! Friends like these are so few and far between. I am so blessed to have all of them in my life. I love them so much!

Thanksgiving

I know I know it has been forever since i have been on here... So I will post them individually. So first here is Thanksgiving. We had a great time visiting back home with all of our family. We first went to Aunt Jans house and had Christmas with them and then went to my moms and sisters and had fun there as well. Here are the pictures

I have been going to a new church this past few months.... It as well as the people are really great. I now have so many new friends. I think one reason is because of coffee! Since there is only 1 coffee place to go to here in this whole town, I think I am going to start my own! I will call it cafe o' momma A. Sound good??? haha.

On a more serious note I am really starting to like this little town. The people are growing on me! Or maybe I am attaching myself on the people! haha I do know that God has put us here for a reason. I hope and pray that we can grow in our faith and continue our walk with Christ here. I truly thought this town would not have "Hope". I am learning that there is "Hope" in even the smallest places. Tonight at Church I was reassured that God is working in our hearts and leading us in all the right paths. So far we are meeting new people and making new friends everyday. Maybe we were put in their lives or they were placed in ours? Who knows.... well..................God does! And may he continue to guide us and walk us though our journey.

Anyway I am getting emotional and need to get off here before I ruin my laptop with tears! Love you all ! - Amanda

My growing boy! He stayed with his dad for trick or treat night but we got him after that. He enjoyed being at Granny and Grandpas house last wekeend. He got to ride the lawn mower all over and help grandpa on the farm, you know boy stuff! I look at his pictures and just can't believe how handsome he is! He is getting so big!!!

Halloween Weekend

Well as most of you know we went back home to Tennessee. The kids got to go trick or treating at their Aunts and Uncles and grandparents houses. They also got to go to GG's! We went trick or treating with my best friend Celia and her son John Andrew, aka "John Drew". We went to our old neighborhood and had a good night out. The kids got to stay with Granny and Grandpa. We also got Evin and he got to come out to the farm also. Of course I made him take a few pictures. I tried to get all three of them...... yeah that didn't happen. I got so aggrivated at trying to get them all to look just right and all perfect. So this year the christmas card will have all individual pics on 1 card!

This weekend has been fun. Evin was home for the weekend and will be here till Tuesday. They are on fall break back home, which I still wonder how come his school only has 2 days for fall break and all others are out for a week. Anyway the kids are having a good weekend. Saturday Aiden and Natalie went to a friends birthday party. Evin stayed home and spent some time with Michael. Today we went to church, hung out here at the house, and just relaxed. Me and the kids decorated our pumpkins this afternoon and then we went out for Mexican. The kids love cheese dip!!

Arts and Crafts Time

Well last night we decided to do a little artwork. We are making lots of our gifts this year. I decided to be brave and let both of the kids paint. They had a blast! Aiden had more fun I think than Natalie did. Of course Natalie's projuect had to be just right. While Aiden just wanted more and more paint. His should be dry by tomorrow......... maybe! When he was finished we had bath time, you should have seen the paint that was in the tub!

Granny and Grandpas Visit

Well the kids got a special treat last weekend, Granny and Grandpa came to visit! They had so much fun. We really didn't do too much due to there is nothing to do down here, and Natalie was still getting over her tummy bug. But here are a few pics from Granny and Grandpas visit. Well we went back to Tennessee Thursday and spent some time with Mom and Dad. We didn't really get to spend that much time with dad however cause he has been sick. We did get to hang out with my sister and nephews though. We went shopping and hung out, it was fun. I can't believe how big they are getting!

We also went to Memphis Saturday to the Children's Museum. We had never been to this museum. The kids had a good time. Evin is still confused in his football life still. Just so you know this was not my idea to wear the jersey! Natalie and Aiden found a few good hats to try on though while building their house!

Natalie and Aiden had a blast at the Kroger store. You can actually scan your items and pay for them. Evin was the only one who would take his picture with Curious George. Natalie was so scared she screamed running in terror. Aiden did finally shake his hand! He had more fun playing in the other areas.

We also got to go to church at Hope for the Saturday service. It was the 20 year Celebration. We got to see our friends and had a great time. When we were walking out I saw one of the womens ministry leaders and talked with her. Needless to say I was a mess when when we left. I had a cryfest. Natalie did comfort me and told me it would be OK!

Well, today was so long....... I finally pulled myself out of bed. I am getting a cold and feel like crap! But anyway, took the kids to school and headed for the Wal-Mart. I did get to have coffee with a friend from here. Then came home and shampooed the kids rooms and the hallway. Then it was time to go back and get the kids. Then I proceeded to mow (push mow) the back and side yard. THEN I came back in showered and headed to the Methodist church for the after school program for the kids. Well I volunteered to help and they put me with the children's choir! I am so glad I decided not to teach. Those kids drove me nuts and I only had them for 2 hours! Then after that we ate and then the kids played on the playground outside. Needless to say Aiden fell asleep on the way home and is out for the night!!!!

I will get to see the hubby maybe sometime tonight. He got to church as we were leaving , he had to practice for Sunday. I kind of miss him just a bit. Good news is my wonderful mother-in-law is going to watch the kids in October for us. It will be nice to chill and just do nothing with Michael.

Natalie and her Assage.

Well a massage is what she meant to say. Apparently Natalie likes a massage. She comes in here to the living room and asked me for a "asage". She then props her feet up and expects me to start! So I tell her no then she lays down across my legs and wants a back rub instead! She is getting so funny these days!
Last week we are driving down the road and Aiden starting doing something to her. So she turns and says " you are just like your mother". I thought Michael was going to run off the road and I had to hide my laughter! i just don't know where she gets some of this stuff!

Trip to McWayne Center

We recently went to the McWayne Center in Birmingham. The kids loved it! I took Aiden and Natalie on Wednesday and then we all went again with Evin on Saturday. It has 4 levels including an aquarium on the bottom floor. Aiden really enjoys watching the fish as well as the top floor which has 2 train models and 2 train sets you can play with. Natalie loves the "butterfly wall". If you stand in front of the screen the butterflies will land on you! Evin had fun i think the most in the wind tunnel and doing the weather!

Potty Training

As you know Aiden turned 2 in July. We got him a potty chair and he loves it! However we have a few accidents every now and then. For instance, he tries to help empty the container.... Not fun! My favorite so far was this morning. Aiden woke up EXTRA early this morning due to going to bed at 5:30 last night! (no nap yesterday) So I get up and turn the TV on and he is watching his shows while me and Michael lay in bed listening to the Wiggles! A few minutes pass and Aiden comes in the room and hands me something. Me half asleep takes it from Aiden not really paying attention to what is is. Upon further investigation of the object I realize it is a TURD! He says " i pee pee, I poo poo" *&%^&^$*^%$*&%^^& Why can't he go to Daddy's side of the bed and give him the turd! So then I am on a mission to find the missing diaper and the rest of his morning surprise! Of course it was in sisters room. For some reason it is so much more fun to take ones diaper off in their sisters room! Thought I would share my turd story. I will have many more I am sure.....
